CASEing Dawn Griffith: Crazy Crafters Bloghop

 Hi Stampers! (I couldnt resist!)

Today the Crazy Crafters are CASEing the bubbly and super talented Dawn Griffith! If you haven't already, make sure you check out her blog, it is full of inspiration and her video tutorials are fantastic!

You may be starting the hop here at my blog (Em Robinson) or you mayhave come from another blog, make sure you check them all out!!

It was hard to pick just ONE of Dawns projects to CASE, but eventually I decided on this cute Z Fold Gift Card Holder.

Dawn kindly included all of the cutting/scoring measurements in her post, which made CASEing a breeze (although I did have to shift my brain into imperial mode!) I flipped the design on its side, but otherwise followed Dawn's instructions.

Recently a good friend of ours got engaged (interstate), so I wanted to create a card for them. Given that we were planning on sending a gift card, this design was perfect! The heart stamp is from the Project Life set Memories in the Making, on 2014-2016 In Colour Designer Series Paper.

I stuck with a simple colour scheme; Hello Honey (which I will miss so much when it retires in May!), Whisper White and Basic Black. The patterned paper component of my design is the silvery stripe on kraft design from the Shine On Designer Series Papers.

Inside the card I have left a space for our message, alongside another piece of In Color DSP which nicely ties in with the hearts on the front.

Thanks so much for popping by today, make sure to check out all the other great projects and ofcourse Dawn's blog! Happy Crafting, Em
