Butterfly Card Tutorial- featuring Cherry on Top DSP

Today I am going to share a quick tutorial from a kit that I used for the catalogue launch.
It features two of the new in colors (Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush) as well as the Cherry on Top DSP Stack.

Here is a full list of materials (ofcourse you could supplement them for other colors/papers)
1 card base (Mine is Whisper White, 20 x 15cm, finished size 10 x 15cm)
1 piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock, 14.5cm x 9.5cm
1 piece of Crushed Curry cardstock, 14cm x 9cm
3 butterflies punched from Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack
Scraps of card for sentiment- mine are Whisper White, and Cucumber Crush, and I have stamped the sentiment (from A Dozen Thoughts) using Watermelon Wonder ink

To punch the butterflies from the Crushed Curry cardstock, you will need a few basic measurements.
I like to use my punch upside down so I can line up the measurements exactly.

Adhere the Crushed Curry Cardstock to the Watermelon Wonder Cardstock
Adhere butterflies, using a glue dot in the centre of their body. Bend their wings out slightly for a 3d look.
Adhere to the card base, then add your sentiment!
Here are the exact items I used:
