Time for Tea: High Tea Invitations

Recently, I was offered the opportunity to create some invitations for a local business Sunsets Hire. Elle offers amazing event styling and planning in the Broome area, specializing in High Tea and vintage hire. You must check out her website! (www.sunsetshire.com... they are also on facebook!) Even if you don't live in the area, as her photos and ideas are DIVINE!

I used the 'vintage tea party' theme as a springboard for these invites. All of them include product I had on hand (some of which is retired) but I will link supplies where possible.

This little invite is super cute. I printed out the invitation template (which you can see below in full), however, Stampin'Up! also have fantastic invitation stamps including this one.
The cardstock base is a 10cm x 15cm card, finished with a Bow Builder punch and a paper sash. (In this case made with the retiring All Abloom Paper Stack, available whilst stocks last.)

This invite is similar, in that it is also a 10cm x 15cm base, however this time I have made it using Stampin'Up! double sided patterned paper. I LOVE that Stampin'Up! papers are double sided, not only do you get two patterns for the price of one, but in this case, you can show off both coordinating patterns. The bow matches the back of the invite. This paper is an old design from Stampin'Up! which is no longer available... however their are PLENTY of options left to choose from.

This is my favourite invite, even though it was super time consuming to create. I actually made about 30 of these invites a few years ago for a friends baby shower, each tea bag tag had a picture of a vintage pram with 'Baby (Surname)' printed on it.

When you pull the tag there is a cardstock 'teabag' inside with a fold out invitation.

Here are a few variations on the theme, with one with a modern take, and one retro.

Do you have a special occasion coming up? If you are in Broome or surrounds, make sure you check out Sunsets Hire. If you are looking for more invitation ideas, feel free to drop me an email.

See you again soon,
Em
