Sweet and Simple

The older I get, the more I like cooking. Where I was once happy with a jar of spaghetti sauce over pasta, I now like to spend hours slow cooking the perfect bolognase. The prepackaged creme brulee has been replaced with homemade ginger and vanilla bean infused creme brulee. Pizza from a box just isnt the same.

But one of my most used recipes is a simple one, for homemade flatbread. There is a world of difference between the chewy cardboard texture of store bought bread (especially gluten free!), and a bite of soft, warm, freshly cooked, ceoliac friendly flatbread. 3 simple ingredients, and yet, the result is amazing.

But this is a craft blog right? Well...

Here is a simple card.

A few basic ingredients; cardstock, 1 stamp, 1 ink, a diecut.

But the result when compared to a mass produced store bought card?

Priceless.

It doesnt need to be complicated...

Supplies used:
Rose Red cardstock 15cm x 21cm, scored to form a card base
Whisper White Cardstock 10cm x 14.5cm
Bold Butterfly diecut from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper
Sentiment stamp from Watercolor Wings set
Basic Black Archival Ink
