GDP022

Today I'm just doing a short blogpost because as I write, this is my view:

Its so nice to be near the water again!

This weeks GDP Challenge is a sketch as follows. (Sketches are my favourite kind of challenge and this one is really simple and sweet!)

Here is my spin on the sketch using the Love Blossoms DSP. This particular pattern is quite busy, so I wanted to give it lots of space to shine... the sketch was perfect for showing it off!

The circle embellishment is handmade... it reminds me of a ribbon you might win at a craft fair! The gold ruffle is made simply by gathering up a strip of gold off the striped pattern from the Metallic Vellum. There are two butterflies layered on top, the glittery one is the Elegant Butterfly punch, made with Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper, the other in Rose Red cardstock is a die cut using the smaller of the Bold Butterfly Framelits.

I am so grateful for this fantastic sentiment from the Rose Wonder set. It is perfect for so many moments. I have embossed it gold here to match the ruffle.

Here is a list of the items I have used:
