Lately I have had to make A LOT of thankyou cards for the hospitals, anaethetists, doctors, specialists, family and friends who have helped us out while I have been ill. I still cant craft for long periods of time, so I am loving playing along with challenge blogs, they help inspire me and make my crafting process simpler. Ofcourse, new Stampin'Up! goodies also provide great inspiration.
Tonight I am sharing a card inspired by this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches
Here is my take using the gorgeous Birthday Bouquet papers
Ive used the "Thankyou" stamp from "Another Thankyou" in place of the embellishment. It is stamped with Blushing Bride ink, then outlined using the fine tip end of the Mossy Meadow Stampin Write marker. The "Kindly" sentiment is from the Sale-a-bration freebie set called "Perfect Pairings" The little butterfly is also from a Sale-a-bration set ("Flowering Fields") and is coloured using Stampin Write markers. I love the simple pearl strand which comes in the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit. It really sets off the girly floral paper strip.
Thanks for popping by today and remember, Sale-a-bration starts Jan 5 (only one more
sleep) For every $90Au you spend on any Stampin' Up! Products, you can pick 1 item free. Looking for a demonstrator Australia wide? Please select me Em Robinson!
Happy shopping, love Em
Sorry you have been so ill but I'm glad you are able to craft a bit again! Your card is lovely.....just the right hint of pink! Glad you joined us at FMS!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear that you're well enough to start crafting; it will help you bounce back even faster. This thank you card is beautiful and a very thoughtful gesture to someone that helped you through a rough time. I'm sure they will be very appreciative of your kindness.
