Tutorial: Mini Gift Cards using Bohemian DSP (and the Bow Builder punch)

Today I am going to share with you how you can create these cute little gift cards (finished size 5cm x 5cm)
My mini cards feature the Bohemian Designer Series Paper and Matching Cardstock, however you could use any papers and coordinating cardstock you have on hand! Its a great way of using up scraps! You will also need the Stampin'Up! Bow Builder punch.

The bows can be a little fiddly the first time you put them together, but once you get the hang of them, they are quite easy! I once made about 40 whilst watching a 1 hr tv show.

Here are my instructions for the bows. You will need 1 bow for each card you make, which requires 2 punchouts.

Step 1 helps to break up the fibres in the paper, to give your bow a nice rounded look.
I find glue dots are the best adhesive to hold your bow. Liquid glue like Tombow would also work, but you will have to hold each section as it dries, so it could be a little time consuming, and also messy. I love how easy glue dots are to use and that there is no mess afterwards.

For your each mini card you will need: 1 bow, 1 piece of cardstock 5cm x 10cm scored and folded in half to form a card 5cm x 5cm, 1 coordinating paper panel 4cm x 4cm.

Use 4 glue dots to adhere panel to the front of the card.

You will already have 1 glue dot on the centre back of your bow. Attach two more glue dots to the ribbon ends, about midway between the centre and the end of the ribbon.
Attach your bow and your done.
