Hi and welcome to StudioEmilie.
Thanks for participating in this blog hop, aren't the crazy crafters an amazing bunch of artists?! This is my first time in the hop and I am so happy to be part of such an inspiring bunch.
Given the theme love, I created this card as an engagement card for friends.
I was inspired the the woven card that I created last month to create another woven look, this time weaving a heart image.
I used an older paper that I had on hand (from the Patio Party range) woven onto white card, and combined it with the gorgeous Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I also stamped the image (a sentiment trimmed from the Cheers to Love set) with Blackberry Bliss ink.
I created this card with a young couple in mind, inspired by the current trend for weaving, indie style design and texture.
I am really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to use this technique more in my crafting!
Make sure you check out all of the Crazy Crafters blogs, you are in for a real treat!
Love Emilie
