Crazy Crafters Blog Hop: Inspired By Patty Bennett

Today the Crazy Crafters are lucky enough to be hopping with the very talented Patty Bennett. Patty is a US Demonstrator who recently achieved $1 Million US in Stampin'Up! Sales... that sure is making a career out of what you love! Patty is a really nice down to earth person, and it was so hard to choose just one of her projects to be inspired by... however I narrowed it down to this design.

There is so much I love about Patty's card! The scalloped circle, the colours she has used, the cute bow and the easel design. Here is my take on her work:

I have used the same suite of paper as Patty, but featured different designs. Watermelon Wonder remains a feaure colour for the sentiment and ribbon, although I have chosen to highlight Mint Macaron with my scalloped circle and accent papers. Whereas Patty has fussy cut two of the flowers from the patterned paper, I have used a stamped image. I have used Kraft as my base colour, which results in a more earthy overall look.

The Just For You stamp featured here is one of the great products available FREE when you spend $90AU on Stampin'Up! products during Sale-a-Bration. Dont miss out, click SHOP NOW in the sidebar!

I really enjoyed participating in this hop, and the time I could spend looking over Pattys work. Be sure to check out her blog for heaps of great inspiration. Make sure you keep hopping through all the Crazy Crafters blogs too, as always you are in for a treat.
